Dental postcards don't work!

Dental Postcards DON’T WORK!  Chiropractic Postcard don’t work either!  I’ve talked to numerous dentists and chiropractors who have tried dental postcards and chiropractic postcards but don’t get new patients from them.  So is it safe to say that effective dental marketing and chiropractic marketing should not include dental postcards or chiropractic postcards?   For most of you NO YOU SHOULDN’T DO POSTCARDS because you don’t do them right!

Every doctor that I spoke with who does not get good results from dental or chiropractic postcards makes ___ deadly mistakes.

1.       The card isn’t designed right!  Typically the dentist or chiropractor wants to dictate how a postcard should be designed.  This results in a card that attracts doctors not patients. 

2.       They are not consistent in their postcard mailings.  Postcards require consistency, to mail out once or twice or to have huge gaps between mailings is going to result in minimal success.

3.       Poor Offer or reason to visit the office displayed on card. Many times the offer or reason why the doctor differentiates from the completion isn’t present or just plain sucks.

4.       Reach the wrong demographic.  Some people will just never come to your office.  Reach the right people with the right message, the right incentive, and you’ll get new patients.
